Er was eens: Mama Olga, een wilde gans die een lange reis maakte om de wereld te ontdekken met haar kleintjes, Bambou, Plumette en Flechette. Ze vertrokken over de grote vlakten naar verre landen, hoog in de lucht boven de oceanen en de bergen, op zoek naar anderen...De 'anderen' waren Chaussette de vos en Petite Chaussette de kleine vos. Vervolgens ontmoeten ze Josephine de vriendelijk, moederlijke, blauwe vinvis en twee kleine muizen, Pablo en Lisette. Elk van hen ontvangt de reizende familie hartelijk en deelt hun avonturen. . . Klim op Olga's rug en vlieg mee naar deze wonderlijke wereld...Deze collectie « Le voyage d'Olga » is een samenwerking van Moulin Roty met Cécile Blindermann. Na haar studies aan de École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (Hogere Nationale School voor Decoratieve Kunsten) in Parijs, creëerde Cécile Blindermann kits uit vilt en wol voor tijdschriften en de speelgoedwinkel «Pain d'Epices» in Parijs. Ze schreef ook boeken over deze creatieve techniek en nam deel aan verschillende tentoonstellingen. Cécile gebruikte al haar gevoel en expertise voor het creëren van deze bijzondere collectie vol tedere, ongewone en aanhankelijke karakters.

Imagine, its 1972, and a group of 20 or so friends are searching for a common project that will provide both work and a certain way of life. The group decides to purchase an old mill that has fallen into ruins. They renovate the mill bit by bit so that their families can move in and live there together as a commune. The adventure begins with screen printing and craft items (lamps, jewellery, decorative items . . . )At first Moulin Roty launches 2 toys, a car made of wood and sponge and a soft doll made of cloth (the ‘douillette’). Both items propel the association into the world of children’s toys. Today we know Moulin Roty for it's high quality toys and decoration, always with a hint to the "good old days" ‘Yesterday’s toys for today’s children’
