SNURK is a small independent label from Amsterdam creating high quality bedding with photorealistic prints. The duvet covers, sheets of cushions are designed in Holland, made in Portugal . It all started in 2007 with a very nobel charity action. It had always been an idea in the back of her head: a duvet cover with a print of cardboard boxes. Especially made for charity. In 2007, advertising professional Peggy decided to execute on the idea. Together with her partner Erik she created Le-Clochard and Le-Trottoir. A duvet cover and fitted sheet that look like a cardboard box and a sidewalk. Most profits of these two special designs went to a charity organization supporting homeless youngsters in the Netherlands: 'Stichting Zwerfjongeren Nederland'. Supplies sold out in no-time. From that moment on a new brand came to life and more amazing prints and funny details are covering super soft cotton beddings. Astronauts, ballerinas, fire fighters dancers are joining lots of children all over the world in their sleep. Every image is carefully chosen after intense research, printed and reprinted until it finds it's way on the sheets. Today, people from Amsterdam to Australia are sleeping under a SNURK design. There's nothing like a dream to create the future (Victor Hugo)
