Little Zebra can only provide your data to third parties in accordance with the applicable legislation. We provide information upon request to the authorities, for example the police and security authorities, and other authorities for the reasons specified by law.

Information about our customers is an important part of our business and it is not our job to trade it. We only share this information in the cases previously described and for the purposes described in this privacy policy with Little Zebra control and which are either governed by this privacy policy or apply rules that are at least as protective as those described in this privacy policy.

In addition, we may submit your data to subcontractors, in which case we will ensure that the confidentiality of the data is maintained, and we will also be responsible for data management in this case. If we process your data outside of the EU region, we protect your data by ensuring that the subcontractor guarantees the correct processing of the data.

Processing identification and location data related to electronic communications

Little Zebra treats all data and messages created during the communication as confidential. Our staff is bound by a duty of confidentiality and a prohibition on using messages or other confidential information. When communication goes through a network, it always leaves a trace. These network traces are called identifiers if they can be connected to a person. Network traces are created, for example during phone calls, sending e-mail and text messages and surfing the Internet, and may contain information about the parties, the connection route or routing, the protocol of data transfer used, the event and the terminals used or their location.

Little Zebra manages the identification and localization information of the communication according to the applicable legislation for the purposes, for example of the implementation and use of the services, the billing and technical development and our marketing activities. The data can also be used for billing other service providers as needed.

Little Zebra can also use identification data to handle abuse, data leaks and error fixes.

In all of the above situations, we only process identification and location data to the extent necessary to perform a specific task.

Use of location data

An actual locating method that allows another person to track where another person is located requires the approval of the other person. The customer cannot be located if he declines geolocation services.

If we pass on location data to location service providers, we will ensure by appropriate means that there is consent from the individual to be located.

Persons authorized to manage identification and location data

Only specific people at Little Zebra whose work requires access to identification and location data can process this data. In practice, authorization is only granted to individuals who perform tasks related to billing, maintenance or development of communications networks or services, abuse prevention and investigation, customer service and marketing. People with the right to manipulate the data can only control it to the extent necessary to perform individual tasks.

Duration of processing of identification and location data and data storage

We process identification and location data for as long as necessary for billing, technical development, troubleshooting, marketing, abuse investigation or data security. However, customization only takes place to the extent required for the actions and without unnecessarily compromising the confidentiality and privacy of a message.

We keep the data necessary for billing for a minimum of one year from the invoice due date and for a maximum period of three years from the invoice due date, unless it is necessary to keep data for a longer period. Otherwise, data will be stored to the extent permitted and required by relevant legislation.

Follow-up of visits to our online store

We also collect data about website visits. This data includes the IP address and its DNS name, the organization that registered the IP address, the name and address of the page visited, the page load time and the type of browser.

Keep in mind that the IP address is an identifier required for the Internet to function and is used to forward messages sent over the Internet to the appropriate places. Typically, the IP address is not connected to the person using the computer, but can be connected to the organization that registered the IP address. The IP address connection can be established at the request of the authorities.
