SNURK is a small independent label from Amsterdam creating high quality bedding with photorealistic prints. The duvet covers, sheets of cushions are designed in Holland, made in Portugal. Founders and designers Peggy Van Neer and Erik van Loo decided to have their original images printed in on qualitative cotton in Portugal. It all started in 2007 with a very noble charity project. Advertising professional Peggy always had an idea for charity: a duvet cover with a print of cardboard boxes. Finally, together with her partner Erik, she created Le Clochard and Le Trottoir. Duvet covers and fitted sheets that look like cardboard boxes and a sidewalk. The profits of these two special designs went to a charity organization supporting homeless youngsters in the Netherlands: 'Stichting Zwerfjongeren Nederland'.Now SNURK keeps surprising its customers with realistic designs in imaginative themes: astronauts, ballerinas, fire fighters and dancers. Big dreams become reality in little beds! The costumes for the shoots are real uniforms and not simply dress-up gear from the shop next door. For the Ballerina bedding, SNURK collaborated with the Dutch National Ballet, which is considered to be one of the top 5 ballet companies of the world. Not only did they lend them one of their talented ballerinas for the photo shoot, but also an amazing handmade tutu. And the real astronaut suit comes from the Space Expo Museum in Holland. The parrot in on the pirate bedding? Also real!Discover this astonishing realistic bedding here!"There's nothing like a dream to create the future" (Victor Hugo)[oqeygallery id=24]
