They do that by means of a very old barter-system: Indian women trade their saris for kitchen utensils like pots and pans. The Colorique factory cuts the most beautiful embroidered pieces from the saris and they are made into plaids, borders of mosquito nets, cushion covers and curtains. Every product from this line is different and therefore one of a kind!
